Garricks first "real"soccer game

Garrick was a little nervous about having a real soccer game, even though they only played against each other...It turned out great, he was encouraged that the team needed him...they also lost but the one goal they scored was enough to make their day...they were so cute playing and look foward to playing next week...they are team England....sarah and ford watched and cheered for garrick and john thomas...

Harrison is now 10 weeks old...he weighed 11 lbs 3 oz at his dr. appt last week... and is spitting up like a champ :)...ford is being his silly self, he makes us laugh everyday...he is definately a little corey, into everything and seemingly destructive...he has gone crazy with the ink pin on the furniture...and garrick is a big boy...you will notice the pic with his uncle david who has a personalized license plate with his name on it...how cool is that...

As you can see in the pics, Garrick has his first black eye...he was hit on accident with a baseball bat, but it hasnt seemed to slow him down...Ford has decided he wants to be a plumber as you can see and sweet Harrison is growing so fast...he has started smiling and cooing, and weighs over 10lbs...

Garrick starts soccer

Garrick started soccer practice last week...he had a lot of fun with his friends...ford wanted to play with them so bad...we had to keep him off the field while garrick was playing...the other pic is when garrick painted himself BLUE, his favorite color, with outside washable (thank goodness) paint...

Labor Day weekend

Garrick was excited to shoot his BB gun that papa bought him...and Ford had fun digging in to Mae Mae's bday cake...and Harrison had an ok time taking a bath in Mae Mae's bathroom sink, we have figured out he is a little modest and does not like to be naked...

harrison is one month old...oh, how time flies...he weighed 7lbs at his 2 week check up...he is doing good, sleeping ok...i still am not quite sure who i think he looks like...i think its the hair...garrick and ford had little hair and what they had was white blonde...anyway, i must get to bed...i hear harrison grunting in his cradle, hopefully he wont wake up too soon...

ford decided it would be fun to play in the rain...this is very uncharacteristic for garrick to do something like this (he takes after his mama)...but once he saw how much fun ford was having, he decided to have a little fun too...

Here are some new pics of the boys...it seems that we cant get a good picture without some toy, food or other foreign object in the pic...oh well, i guess this is how it will always be with 3 boys...anyway, garrick started jr. k last week and really likes it...he is such a big boy...things are starting to return to normal...well, maybe not normal, but we are getting back into a routine...the only difference is that i have one extra child to tote around...life goes on...

First week home

well, we are making it our first week home...corey has been off all week and the boys have had school so the days have been pleasant and the nights have been pretty hectic....but we are doing fine...better than expected...garrick loves on harrison constantly, always want to hug an kiss him, this morning i found garricks chicken in the bed with harrison...and ford wants to "hold it"...and as you can see he is very happy when he gets to hold him...

I have been really surprised with Ford...he is so sweet to harrison, and has not seemed bothered by us having to care for another baby...he did talk with Mae Mae on the phone yesterday and she asked if he had a new baby and he said "ah-huh" and she asked what the babys name was and he said "ford"....

Welcome Harrison Daniel Smith...well, it is a good thing we had fords bday party on tuesday...i had a doctors appt on wed. and scheduled a c-section for august 5th...but little harrison had other plans for us...corey was out of town, and i started having contractions about 1am...at 3am, emily and my dad and dianna were on their way to my house...it was time...and i was unable to contact corey...at 4:30am we were told that it was time to do the c-section, the baby was in distress...we had talked with corey by this point but he was too far away to get here in time so emily went into surgery with me...at 5:26am harrison was born...he had a head full of dark hair and weighed 6lbs 8oz...corey finally arrived about 6:20 to meet his newest son...it was a special morning and praise be to God for letting everyone arrive safely....we are home now and doing well...garrick really wanted a girl, but love harrison just the same and ford loves him too...they have been very sweet to him, not much jealousy yet...3 boys...we love it...

Ford turns 2

we had a birthday party for ford on the 22nd...his birthday is the 26th but we wanted to make sure that he got to have a birthday party before the baby comes...i am still taking the medicine to stop contractions, so that we can make it through his birthday...he had a great time...i cant believe he is turning 2...

VACATION

Well, we had a pretty eventful vacation to the beach...we stopped on the way outside of mobile to spend the night and i ended up in the hospital with contractions...probably from the drive and dehydration...the next night, once we got to destin, i went back to the hospital again with contractions...nothing serious, i wasnt in labor, just contracting like i was...i was put on medicine and had to take it easy the rest of the week...praise the Lord my mother was there and also that my children love their daddy...it was a nice vacation and we all made it home safely with baby still in tow....

we are all ready for vacation...garrick has learned to swim and ride his bike without training wheels and ford thinks he can do anything that garrick does...they are so fun and are so great with each other...we are anxious to see what this new little one will bring to our lives...
